Novi Sad

Novi Sad, Serbia, Serbia - 2022 Danube River cruise. Novi Sad is the second largest city in Serbia with an ethnically diverse population of around 300,000. It was founded in 1694 as a merchant town to serve the Habsburg Petrovaradin Fortress on the opposite bank of the Danube River. We did a walking tour through the old city center and saw lots of shops, restaurants and historic sites.
